How the Gen Z Impact Index is built, why the average grant for this cohort is higher than the global average, and which datasets power the ranking.
Gen Z is expected to be the first wave of adopters, disproportionately filling the early, higher-value distribution phases (Phase 1A: GX 1,000; Phase 1B: GX 750; Phase 1C: GX 500). This produces a higher weighted average of GX 210 per Gen Z participant compared to the global population average of GX 136. The Gen Z Impact Index scores each country on Youth Need (60% weight: financial exclusion, unemployment, economic vulnerability, youth population share) and Youth Readiness (40% weight: mobile, internet, youth population scale).

Distribution amounts are illustrative projections. GX units are issued to verified individuals aged 15 to 70 across six distribution phases. The Gen Z average grant of GX 210 (USD 25,200) reflects this generation's expected concentration in early distribution phases due to higher digital adoption rates; the global population average is GX 136 (USD 16,320). Not all eligible youth may register. Actual amounts depend on individual registration. Youth population 15 to 29 is estimated at 1.5x the verified 15 to 24 cohort from UN data.
