How the GX Impact Index is built, how the allocation math works at genesis, and which datasets power the ranking.
GX Coin Protocol distributes currency directly to individuals as grants. No purchase required. Governments receive treasury allocations of an average of GX 60 per participant (approximately USD 7,200) and individuals receive an average of GX 136 (approximately USD 16,320). These averages account for six distribution phases and eligibility limited to ages 15 to 70 (approximately 60% of total population). Fixed supply of 1.25 trillion GX units. Zero interest on all lending. A velocity mechanism of 3% to 6% annual on large idle balances funds government treasuries, charitable causes, and universal basic income.

Treasury allocations use an average of GX 60 per participant (50% at GX 80 Phase 1, 50% at GX 40 Phase 2). Individual allocations use an average of GX 136 per participant (weighted across eight distribution phases targeting 4 billion participants). Actual distribution amounts for each country will differ because: (1) GX units are issued only to verified individuals aged 15 to 70, not the entire population; (2) distribution occurs across eight phases with declining per-participant grants; (3) allocation within each phase is proportional to registered participants, not total citizens; (4) the protocol does not control registration, if not all eligible citizens within a country register, that country's total allocation will be lower.
